Seating and Interior Spaces
The lowest trim level has only five seats, whereas the remaining middle grades include a third row with two extra seats. Seating in the second row is large, but legroom and headroom lag behind those of American competitors. The third row feels cramped, especially when compared to the Grand Wagoneer, extended-wheelbase Escalade, and Navigator. Getting into the third row is also inelegant, necessitating a tumble-forward second row and the removal of a fitted car seat. At the very least, Lexus allows owners to electronically lift and lower the third row from the trunk or second row.
